How to salvage a MacBook Air that has been damaged by liquid spillage?
I accidentally spilled a large amount of beer on my MacBook Air while working late at night. I attempted to dry it out, but it does not power on anymore. I need to take it to the IT department for a replacement, but I am worried that they will find out that it was beer that caused the damage. Is there any way I can open the back of the laptop or do anything to fix it, or at least reduce the odor?
I appreciate the honesty and professionalism of the IT team and I do not intend to lie to them. I have already informed them that I spilled something on the laptop, but I have not disclosed what it was. I will tell them the truth when I return the laptop.
